Hi fellow students , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us studying ,like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can help me with algebra ? I have never tried one before , but they are probably not hard to use I think . If anyone tried such a software , I would really appreciate some more information about it. I'm in College Algebra now, so I've been studying things like reducing square roots to simplest radical form and it's not easy at all.

If you can be explicit about reducing square roots to simplest radical form, I could provide help to solve the algebra problem. If you don’t want to pay for a algebra tutor, the next best option would be a correct software program which can help you to solve the problems. Algebrator is the best I have come upon which will show every step of the solution to any algebra problem that you may write from your book. You can simply write it down as your homework assignment. This Algebrator should be used to learn algebra rather than for copying answers for assignments.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with adding functions, y-intercept and multiplying fractions. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
