I have a solution for you and it might just prove to be a better one than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving problems based on i want one digit after point java and I really enjoyed using it.

Hey Dude, Algebrator helped me with my homework last week. I got the Algebrator from http://www.algebrahomework.org/solving-systems-of-equations-by-substitution.html. Go ahead, try that and let us know your opinion. I have even recommended Algebrator to a couple of my friends at college.

I remember having often faced problems with scientific notation, radical equations and inequalities. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Pre Algebra, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
