Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a math tutor to help me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as fractions formulae and 3x3 system of equations. Now that teacher turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much I try . Please help!

You haven’t mentioned any details about the problem that is troubling you. I would like to help you with fractions formulae as it was my favorite topic in math. I also recommend using a really good product called Algebrator. This is the best that I have come across to help math students. But make sure you use it to learn the subject and not just to copy and submit your homework.

I am a student turned teacher ; I give classes to high school children. Along with the regular mode of teaching , I use Algebrator to solve examples practically in front of the learners .

Can a program really help me learn my math? Guys I don’t want something that will solve equations for me, instead I want something that will help me understand the subject as well.

I remember having problems with graphing function, linear algebra and inverse matrices. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
