Hi everyone, I heard that there are various software that can help with us doing our homework, like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with math? I have never tried one before , but they shouldn't be hard to use I think . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like online logarithmic calculation and it's not easy at all.

What exactly don't you understand about online logarithmic calculation? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my Pre Algebra, and I have to say it's the best ! It's less costly than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever tried a similar program. I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math tutor . You won't regret it!

Hey , just a year ago, I was stuck in a similar situation. I had even considered the option of leaving math and taking up some other course . A friend of mine told me to give one last try and sent me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within an hour. My grades have really improved within the last one month.

Thank you, I will check out the suggested software. I have never worked with any software before , I didn't even know that they exist. But it sure sounds amazing ! Where did you find the software ? I want to get it as soon as possible , so I have time to prepare for the test .

I remember having often faced problems with lcf, exponent rules and proportions. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
