Posted: Sunday 31st of Dec 08:53 Hi everyone, I heard that there are various software that can help with us doing our homework, like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with math? I have never tried one before , but they shouldn't be hard to use I think . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like online logarithmic calculation and it's not easy at all.

Posted: Monday 01st of Jan 09:10 What exactly don't you understand about online logarithmic calculation? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my Pre Algebra, and I have to say it's the best ! It's less costly than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever tried a similar program. I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math tutor . You won't regret it!

Posted: Monday 01st of Jan 10:14 Hey , just a year ago, I was stuck in a similar situation. I had even considered the option of leaving math and taking up some other course . A friend of mine told me to give one last try and sent me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within an hour. My grades have really improved within the last one month.

Posted: Wednesday 03rd of Jan 19:57 I remember having often faced problems with lcf, exponent rules and proportions. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program.
