Hello , I may sound really dumb to all the math experts here, but it’s been 2 years since I am studying calculator notes ti-83, but I never found it appealing . In fact I always commit mistakes. I practise quite often , but still my marks do not seem to be getting better

The attitude you’ve adopted towards the calculator notes ti-83 is not the right one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a scenario . Its nice that you still want to try. My key to easy equation solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

I agree, resources on the internet are no better than the college books. Algebrator is a good method to start your math career.
